Aston Martin Vantage – Audio Upgrade That Finally Matches the Car
Some cars don’t just deserve better — they demand it. This 2022 Aston Martin Vantage came to us with the Premium Sound system, but the owner felt what many Aston owners eventually discover: the factory system looks the part… but doesn’t quite feel the part.
The car screams performance, emotion, and craftsmanship. The audio didn’t. So the mission was simple:
Make the music match the car — without losing the OEM elegance.
The Game Plan: Better Source → Better Signal → Better Experience
The car originally had an aftermarket CarPlay unit running through AUX, and while functional, it severely limited sound quality. So step one was correcting the source.
We upgraded to the RDVFL CarPlay integration unit, allowing us to retain factory Bluetooth and keep everything seamless inside the Aston’s modern interior. From there, we used RDVFL’s optical preamp integration to feed a pure Toslink digital signal into the heart of the upgrade — a Helix DSP + amplifier system.
No hacking. No messy aftermarket look. Just clean OEM-plus integration with true high-resolution performance.
The System
Helix V8 Ultimate DSP Amplifier
Helix M ONE Sub Amplifier
Helix Conductor Control Interface
RDVFL Optical Pre-Amp Integration
RDVFL CarPlay NTG5 Interface
JL Audio 8” W3 Subwoofer
ResoNix sound treatment
Custom amplifier enclosure + beauty panels
The client wanted to keep his factory speakers — and we respected that. Tweeter mounting in these cars is unique, and OEM integrity was a priority. So instead of replacing drivers, we optimized and unlocked the potential of what Aston already gave us.
Hidden Power, OEM Presentation
Everything is mounted clean, serviceable, and secure. AMPs and modules live behind a custom-built enclosure wrapped in Alcantara with red stitching to match factory accents. Carbon fiber inserts and laser-cut acrylic tie into Aston Martin’s interior design language. The car stays elegant, refined, and premium — exactly as it should.
Factory bolt points were used. Wiring is loomed properly. Optical cables are protected. Fuse distribution is safe and factory-worthy. This is the type of install meant to last and be serviceable.

Tuning the Experience
This wasn’t just louder — it was smarter.
We created a driver-focused tune for the purist who wants the absolute best seat in the house.
And a two-seat tune for when the experience needs to be shared.
We used our house tuning philosophy paired with a half-Whitledge curve to create a sound that is not only technically right, but emotionally right.
Tweeters balanced beautifully. The mids — while firing awkwardly toward knees — were carefully corrected to maintain clarity. And that JL 8” in the Aston factory enclosure? It punches way above its size. Tight. Controlled. Musical. Exactly what a car like this deserves.
The Result?
Clarity. Warmth. Depth. And bass that doesn’t just shake — it breathes with the music.
The client was blown away .He got the OEM look he cared so much about… with a completely different listening experience.
Now, when you sit in this Vantage and hit play, the car doesn’t just drive like an exotic — it sounds like one.
